William Lowell Wilson

William Lowell Wilson, 79, of Fordyce formerly of New Braunfels, TX, died Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home. He was born October 3, 1940 in Waldron, Arkansas. He was retired from the railroad and was also served in the Army National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, D.W. “Short” Wilson and Dolly Woodward Wilson; and one brother, Jimmy Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Betty Rushing Wilson of Fordyce; one son, Anthony Kurt Wilson of San Marcos, TX; one daughter, Karen Elizabeth Wilson of San Antonio, TX; three sisters, Sharon Sauerwein of Shaw, MS, Rebecca (Ronnie) Ables of Hampton, Brenda (James) White of Rison; and a loving church family: Oakwood Baptist Church of New Braunfels, TX. Visitation will be Tuesday 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Smith officiating.
