William Hoy Watts, 79, of New Edinburg died Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was born July 23, 1938 in Van Nuys, California. He was an Army veteran serving in the 82nd Air Borne. He was also a member of New Edinburg United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Watts and Lillie Hoy Watts. He is survived by his wife, Diana Garza Watts of New Edinburg; he left behind four children, three daughters, Lisa Denee’ Coburn of Rockwall, TX, Leslie Michelle Watts of San Antonio, TX, Lori Nicole Williams of Kilgore, TX; one step son, J.D. Castillo of Arlington, TX; six grandchildren, three step grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a video presentation at 7:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at New Edinburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Phil Smith officiating. Burial will follow at McCoy Cemetery with military honors.
