William Matthew Spencer

William Matthew Spencer, 33, of Kingsland died Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born September 8, 1980 in El Dorado, Arkansas. Matt was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and grandson. He was an avid outdoorsman and Razorback fan and enjoyed sharing this passion with his family and friends. He loved farming and raising cattle, a trade learned from his Pappaw. He is preceded in death by grandparents, George Harold Childs, John Spencer, Morris Rinehart, and Louella Rinehart; great grandparents, George Childs and Lois Childs. He is survived by one son, Christopher "Bubba" Spencer and one daughter, Kiera Nicolle Spencer, both of Greenbrier; parents, Rickey and Tootie Spencer of Kingsland, Sherry and Ricky Crouse of Kingsland; one sister, Tiffany (Jerried) Holland of Rison; grandmother, Melba Childs of Kingsland; two step brothers, Jonathan Martin of Kingsland, Zack Crouse of Rison; four step sisters, Jessica (Mitchell) Hamilton of Rison, Julia Martin and Jamie Martin, both of Kingsland, Casey (Josh) Blackledge of Norphlet; one niece, MaKayla Blackledge, and three nephews, Spencer Holland of Rison, Jace and Colton Blackledge, both of Norphlet. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kingsland United Methodist Church or to The Father's House Ministries in Donaldson, AR. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Benton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kingsland Cemetery.
