William Sherman Key, a resident of Hampton, Arkansas passed away on April 21, 2016 at the age of 98. He was born in Bernice, Louisiana on February 2, 1918. Mr. Key was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Maudelle Wright Key and his daughter Patricia Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Richard and his wife Linda of New Mexico, four grandsons: Daren Tiley, Duane Tiley and wife Lynn, Kermit key, Kyle Key and wife Carmela and step-granddaughter Victoria Devargas and husband Mateo and their children Devin and Jacob. He is also survived by his dear friends and neighbors Johnnie and Alma Davis who were always there for him, Mr. Max Hudson, his room buddy at Hudson Nursing Home, his beloved canine companion, Little Bear, and many other dear friends and neighbors.
Mr. Key was a building contractor and built many homes in Arkansas, Texas, and New Mexico. He always had a beautiful garden and loved sharing his vegetables and beautiful flowers with all his friends and neighbors. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Private graveside services were held at Pickett Cemetery on Friday, April 22, 2016.
