William Hal Morgan

William Hal Morgan, 86, of Fordyce died Monday April 25, 2016 at Dallas County Medical Center. Born January 19, 1930 at Ivan, he was a son of the late William Marcus Morgan and Blanche Woods Morgan. He was retired from AP&L (Entergy) after 36 years. He was an Army veteran; a member of Hastings Camp and he loved his domino group at the Fordyce Civic Center. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Christine Morgan of Fordyce; two sons, William Marcus Morgan and wife Tara of Fairfield Bay, Joe Bart Morgan of North Little Rock; daughter, Karen Russell and husband Tommy of Fordyce; brother, Larry Morgan of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Laverne Ward of Texarkana, TX, Ann Gardner of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Nick Flowers officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Zion Baptist Church or Stoney Point Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
