William Hal Morgan, 86, of Fordyce died Monday April 25, 2016 at Dallas County Medical Center. Born January 19, 1930 at Ivan, he was a son of the late William Marcus Morgan and Blanche Woods Morgan. He was retired from AP&L (Entergy) after 36 years. He was an Army veteran; a member of Hastings Camp and he loved his domino group at the Fordyce Civic Center. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Christine Morgan of Fordyce; two sons, William Marcus Morgan and wife Tara of Fairfield Bay, Joe Bart Morgan of North Little Rock; daughter, Karen Russell and husband Tommy of Fordyce; brother, Larry Morgan of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Laverne Ward of Texarkana, TX, Ann Gardner of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Nick Flowers officiating.
