William H. Davis

William H. "Harry" Davis, 76, of Fordyce, died Sunday May 23, 2010 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Mr. Davis was born in Tinsman, AR on March 27, 1934 to the late Earner & Pauline Davis. He was a retired forester from Georgia-Pacific & was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church in Fordyce.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Davis of Fordyce, AR; a step-son, Jackie Kyzer of Fordyce, AR; four step-daughters, Lou Ann of Colorado, Mary Curtis of Texarkana, TX; Susan of South Carolina, Cindy Fletcher of Sheridan, AR; a sister, Evelyn Bowen & her husband Bill of Malvern, AR; two granddaughters, Kara Davis of Little Rock, AR, Stacy Davis Nash of Bentonville, AR; a nephew, Johnny Bowen & his wife Wendy of Malvern, AR; a niece, Mary Jo Saline & her husband Roy of Malvern, AR.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday May 25, 2010 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Earnest Cemetery, with the Rev. Nathan Petty officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
