William Riley Carroll

William Riley Carroll, 62, of Fordyce died Tuesday July 7, 2009 at his home. Born November 6, 1946, he was a son of the late Horace and Opal Clement Carroll. He was also prceded in death by a brother, Hugh Carroll. He was a member of Oak Park Church of the Nazarene in Pine Bluff. He was also a licensed minister for the South Arkansas Nazarene District since 1966. He retired from Georgia-Pacific after 22 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Dobbs Carroll; daughter, Jenifer Sisson; grandsons, Andrew William Sisson and Jordan Riley Sisson all of Fordyce; two sisters, Gloria Quimby of Fordyce and Sandra Wallace of Hollister, MO; one sister-in-law, Clara Carroll of Fordyce; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Clint Ferguson, Donnie Westbrook, and Mike White officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery.
