William D. “Bill” Jarrett, 75, of New Edinburg went to be with the Lord Wednesday August 29, 2018 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born June 17, 1943 in Camden, He was a son of the late Doyle Jarrett and Rachel Hudson Adams.
Bill was a member of the First Baptist Church of New Edinburg. He was a foreman for Alcatel for 23 years, and the owner of Fordyce Muffler Shop for 17 years.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Gail Crowder; a brother, Bert Hornaday. He is survived by his wife, Ouita Jarrett; two daughters, Suzanne Wagnon and her husband, Randy of New Edinburg, Amy Offutt and her husband, Wade of White Hall; brother, Tom Jarrett and his wife, Sandy of Ft. Smith; five grandchildren, Jared Wagnon, Allison Wagnon Pearah, Megan Heird, Cameron Offutt, Amy Strickland; four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at Graves Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of
