William Harold Beck

William Harold Beck, 90 of Fordyce died Tuesday, March 31, 2015. He was born July 25, 1924 in Bradley County, Arkansas. He was a retired lumber mill sawyer, a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church for fifty three years; an active deacon and a Mason since 1963. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Elizabeth Ann Beck; one son, Ronald Beck; two brothers and one sister. He is survived by one daughter Lyn Bounds of Bearden; two grandsons, Ronald "Scooter" (Paula) Bounds of Bearden, Rodney (Sherry) Bounds of Bearden; one brother, Wallace Beck of Crossett; one sister, Lois Ann Kendricks of Stevensville, TX; two sisters-in-law, Norma Beck of Hermitage and Jane Nowlin of Star City; three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; his little dog Maggie and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.
