William Thomas Barnes, 92, of Fordyce died Friday December 8, 2017 at his home. Born June 3, 1925 at Ivan, he was a son of the late William Bart Barnes and Ruth Summers Barnes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clarice Steelman Barnes; brother, Doyle Barnes, and daughter-in-law, Lynn Barnes.
He is survived by three sons, Larry Barnes and his wife, Debbie of Fordyce, Mike Barnes and his wife, Susan of Benton, Mark Barnes of Fordyce; brother, Homer Dean Barnes of Fordyce; sister, Christine Morgan of Fordyce; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 9, 2017 at Barnes Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
