Wendell Paul Blankenship

Wendell Paul Blankenship, 55, of Fordyce died Tuesday July 1, 2008. Born November 5, 1952 at Wenatchee, WA, he was a son of Paul and Archie Dean Everett Blankenship of Fordyce. He was an electrician and a well known musician. He is survived by his parents; three brothers; Ronnie Blankenship and his wife, Sherry of Westville, OK, Donnie Blankenship and wife, Linda of Fordyce, Richard Blankenship and wife, Karen of Fordyce; a niece, Katie Blankenship of Fordyce; former wife and best friend, Monda Blankenship of Fordyce; fianc�, Susan Sorrells, and many friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Shaddox officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
