Weda Elease Haney

Weda Elease Haney, 92, of Fordyce died Friday February 28, 2014 at Greenhouse Cottages of Southern Hills in Rison. Born January 16, 1922 at Isabell Creek, AR, she was a daughter of the late Francis Marion Burris and Janie Kinder Burris. She loved being a homemaker, quilting, sewing, traveling with family and her church group. She was a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Ervin Dyal Haney; two sisters, Mildred Johnson, Nona Ruth Duvall. She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Juhl Garrison of Fordyce; brother, Robert Burris of Texas; two grandchildren, Tammy Murry (Robbie) of Greenbrier, Jonathan Juhl (Lavonne) of Maumelle; six great-grandchildren, Maggie Barnes (Ethan) of Monticello, Sarah Atkinson (Shane) of Conway, Micah Murry of Greenbrier, Nathan, Lauren, Emily Kate Juhl of Maumelle. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at Atkins Cemetery in Atkins. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
