Virgle W. Thompson

Virgle W. Thompson 76, of Glenwood died Friday, February 15, 2019 at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born October 10, 1942 in Warren, Arkansas. He was a retired log truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgle Neal Thompson and Sallie Leona Abbott Thompson; and two sons, Randy Thompson and Eldon Wayne Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Margie Nilene Thompson of Glenwood; one son, Gary Thompson of Bearden; two step sons, Ricky (Misty) Wilson of Glenwood, Robert Matt Cochran of Conway; one step daughter, Theresa (Jerry) Gonzalez of Tulsa, OK; daughter-in-law, Wendy Thompson of Holly Springs; one sister, Janie Erwin of Camden; twenty one grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February23, 2019 at Sparkman First Assembly of God Church in Sparkman with Peggy Abbott officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
