Virginia Nell Mccallister

Virginia Nell McCallister of Kingsland died Monday, July 6, 2009, at her home. She was born April 16, 1932 and was a retired CNA. Mrs. McCallister was preceded in death by her husband, Dodson McCallister; a daughter, Gail McCallister; a great-grandson, Xavier Laws and her mother and father.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Lum of Kingsland, Lynette and Spence Steadman of Auburndale, FL, Danny McCallister of New Edinburg and Glen McCallister of Crossett and a daughter-in-law, Joan McCallister of Kingsland; two brothers, Robert Boney of Fordyce and Jimmy Boney of New Edinburg; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 9, 2009 at the Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral servives will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
