Virginia R. Gilbert

Virginia R. Gilbert, 67 of Hampton, died Wednesday., December 16, 2015. She was born October 25, 1948 in Ivan, Arkansas to the late Henry Franklin Wilson and Lillie Pennington Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husbands James W. Miller and Jerry D. Gilbert, two brothers Tommy Wilson and Bud Pennington, and a sister James Saeler.

She is survived by three sons, Jimmy Wayne (Suzi) Griffin of Hampton, Scotty M. Griffin of Hampton, Willis Glen (Shawnee) Miller of Hampton; three brothers Marvin Wilson, Charles Wilson, and Frank Wilson all of Fordyce; six sisters Dorothy Nolan of Hampton, Judy Saeler of Kingsland, Francis Gilbert of Sheridan, Patsy Marsh of Pine Bluff, Sharon Mitchell of Pine Bluff, and Kathy Flowers of Colt; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services are 2PM Saturday at Tinsman First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery.
