Virginia Coonrod

E. Virginia Silliman Coonrod, 86 of Grapevine, TX died Saturday, December 5, 2009. She was born September 6, 1923 in Woodberry, Arkansas to the late Emery Edward and Lora Belle Morrison Silliman. She was the co-owner and bookkeeper for Coonrod Jewelry. She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd L. Coonrod; two brothers, Cornelious Silliman and Thomas Lee Silliman; her sister, Iva Pearl Thomason.

She is survived by her daughter Linda Sue Hammon and husband Jeffrey of Allen, Texas; three sisters, Marvojean McFarland of Memphis, Tennessee, Norma Therrien of Moreno Valley, California, and Bobbie Dean Overcast of Mechanicsville, Virginia; two granddaughters, Tiffany and Jessica Hammon of Allen, Texas.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Woodberry. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
