Vernon "Randy" Crowder, Jr., 58 of Fordyce, died Monday, September 18, 2017. He was born March 28, 1959 in Blue Island, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn R. Crowder and his sister, Cathy Ruth Crowder.
He was a member of Zion Baptist Church for over 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Theresa Crowder of Fordyce; son Vernon Crowder and wife Keri of Little Rock; daughter Vanessa R. Pierce and husband Cody of Fordyce; his father Vernon Crowder, Sr. of Fordyce; sister Julia Gammel and husband David of Fordyce; three grandchildren, Miles Crowder of Little Rock, Boston and Emmett Pierce of Fordyce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 10AM Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
