Verna McGriff Barlow, 95 of Hot Springs, died Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was born August 9, 1917 in Fordyce to the late Jim and Vashtie McCollum. She was preceded in death by her husbands Leo McGriff and Pete Barlow, and grandson Mark McGriff Johnston.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Johnston of Hot Springs; grandson, Greg Johnston of Arkadelphia; nieces, Raye Ann Southall of Little Rock, Catherine Moseley of Fordyce, Mary Ruth Glass of Fordyce, Kay Talley of Conway, and Barbara Wetherly of Fordyce; and nephew James Southall of Carlsbad, California.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Friday at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Petty officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
