Vaughnda Lee Labeff

Vaughnda Lee Evans LaBeff, 82 of Thornton, died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at her home. She was born August 26, 1940 to the late John O. Evans and Annie Jones Evans. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James LaBeff, daughter, Rhonda LaBeff and four sisters: Anna Marie Ellis, Bertha Stone, Helen O’Dell, and Betty Burgett.

She is survived by her four children: Beverly Baxley and husband Kenny of Thornton, Jim LaBeff and wife Robyn of Thornton, John LaBeff and wife Kelly of Bearden, and Joey LaBeff of Bearden; ten grandchildren: Nathan Clemons, Annah Meaux, Andy Spears, Jimmy LaBeff, Danny LaBeff, Tara LaBeff, Justin LaBeff, Mick Evans, Tyler Evans, Emylee Evans; and 13 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at Providence LMBC in Fordyce with Rev. Brian Caldwell and Rev. Richard Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Calaway Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
