Vaudie Jane O'Mary

Vaudie Jane O'Mary, 94, of Hampton died Monday February 16, 2009. She was born July 25, 1914 in Marion County, Alabama. She was a homemaker and a member of Hampton Primitive Baptist Church for 75 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Washington McWhirter and Lina Jane Bobo McWhirter; her husband, William T. O'Mary; son, Roy B. O'Mary and daughter, Patricia Ann O'Mary. She is survived by three sons, Franklin O'Mary of Hacienda Heights, CA, H P O'Mary and wife Joan of Euless, TX, George O'Mary and wife Brenda of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Sarah Jane Russell of Hampton and Lucy Victoria Rowland of El Dorado; sister-in-law, Elizabeth O'Mary of CA; fifteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Campground Presbyterian Church with Elder Vernon Lee and Bobby McWhirter officiating. Burial at Campground Cemetery.
