Tommy Lee Pitts

Tommy Lee Pitts, 60, of Hampton, died Monday September 7, 2009. Mr. Pitts was born in Ouachita County on February 2, 1949 to the late James & Claudia Tanner Pitts. He was a retired truck driver, & a member of the Christadelphian Ecclesia Church. Mr. Pitts was the Fire Chief of the Tinsman Volunteer Fire Department, & honorably & faithfully served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Alana Sue Pitts of Tinsman, AR; two sons, Jody Tillery & his wife Joyce of Camden, AR, Jimmy Pitts & his wife Monica of Tinsman, AR; two daughters, Paula Pitts of Jonesboro, AR, Tommie Lea Pitts of Tinsman, AR; two brothers, Wendell Pitts & his wife Gail of Camden, AR, Kenny Pitts & his wife Billie of Camden, AR; five grandchildren, Amanda, Mallory, Sara, Justin, & Jodi. Mr. Pitts was preceded in death by his grandson, Andy Pitts & three brothers.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday September 11, 2009 at the Earnest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Hampton.
