Tina Leann Sanders

Tina Leann Sanders, 57 of New Edinburg passed away August 20, 2026 at St. John’s Place in Fordyce. She was born May 7, 1969 to Ernest Wayne Sanders and Nora Sue Crutchfield Sanders.

For 29 years, she proudly served her community through the rural postal service. Her dedication to her work was a reflection of the kind of person she was—dependable, hardworking, and she always tried her very best to make sure everyone got what they needed on time.

Outside of work, she loved making memories. She especially enjoyed going to concerts, watching as many movies at the theater as she could and traveling, but some of her favorite adventures were the trips she took with her daughter. Those times together created memories that will be treasured forever.

But perhaps her greatest joy was being a grandmother. She absolutely adored her granddaughter. She doted on her, treasured every moment with her, and took so much joy in watching her little personality grow. Their bond was incredibly special, and although her granddaughter is too young to understand the loss now, she will grow up knowing just how deeply her grandmother loved her.

Tina is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Wayne Sanders, and her very special pup, Jax.

She is survived by her mother, Nora Sue Sanders; sister, Ashley Layne Sanders; daughter. Maggie Leann Harrod and her husband, Bailey Harrod, and her precious granddaughter, Mailey Rayne Harrod all of New Edinburg.

Visitation will be from 6pm till 8pm on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10am Monday, August 24, 2026 at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church in New Edinburg with Bro. Anthony Williams and Bro. Justin Wagnon officiating. Burial will follow at Reaves Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
