Thurman Lee "Crowbar" Raybon

Thurman Lee "Crowbar" Raybon, age 85 of Fordyce, died Friday, May 24, 2013 in Georgetown, LA. He was born December 28, 1927 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. He was a retired sawyer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Wilburn Raybon and Lucy Elizabeth Oliver Raybon; wife, Mary Louise Miller Raybon; four sons, Willie, Jerry, Larry and Pete Raybon; daughter, Edith Gray; and two grandchildren, Chris and Danny Joe Emerson. He is survived by three daughters, Janice Emerson, Mildred Wooten and Jo Ann Emerson all of Fordyce; one sister, Glenar Gossett of Camden; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; and a special group of Louisiana family. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hollis officiating.
