Theresa Ann "Tag" Griffis

Theresa Ann “Tag” Griffis, age 65 of Texarkana, Arkansas died Monday, December 16, 2019 at her home. She was born June 26, 1954 in Camden, Arkansas. She was a retired school teacher and a Baptist. She is preceded in death by her father, George Earl Griffis. Tag is survived by her mother, Frances Griffis of Bearden; one brother, Travis (Hilda) Griffis of Bearden; two nieces, Amy (John) Ray of Bearden, and Tracy Griffis of Bearden; one great niece, Madison Ray of Bearden; three great nephews, Shawn Ray, Aiden Frazier and Cailen Frazier all of Bearden; one step niece, Ashley (Clint) Vaughan of Bearden; two step great nieces, Lanee and Libby Vaughan of Bearden; one step great nephew, Huntley Vaughan of Bearden; and special friends, Rita Hogue of North Little Rock and Sara Johnson of Waldo. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Shaun George officiating.
