Tanner Cole Smith, age 31 of Hampton passed away early Sunday morning, May 24, 2026. He was born September 17, 1994 in Camden, Arkansas. He was a self-employed truck driver and a member of Hampton First Assembly of God Church. Tanner is preceded in death by his mother, Tracie Lynn Evans Smith; one brother, Sawyer “Tom Cat” Thomas Smith; grandparents, Lynn Evans and Alan Smith; great grandparents, C.W. and Martha Sue Priddy. He is survived by his wife, Skylar Strickland Smith of Hampton; one son, Brantley Smith of Hampton; two daughters, Windsley Smith of Hampton, Timberlynn Smith of Van Buren; father, Tyson Smith of Hampton; grandparents, Karen (Bobby) Smith of Hampton; father-in-law, Rickey (Kaysi) Strickland; mother-in-law, Joni (Doug) Wilson; two sisters-in-law, Harley Strickland, Brooke (Jamarion) Strong; one niece, Brinlee Strong; two nephews, Hollis Strong and Dexten Marshall; and many uncles, cousins, in laws and friends.
Visitation will be Friday 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hampton First Assembly of God Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dustin Sanders officiating.
