Sue Carolyn Wheeler Smith

September 30, 1933 — April 10, 2015

Sue Carolyn Wheeler Smith was born September 30, 1933 in Warren, AR to Rev. Carl Wheeler and Maggie Parrott Wheeler. She married George Searcy Smith June 8, 1953. She passed from death unto life, April 10, 2015 in Parker, Colorado. Her memorial service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, April 16th at Emmaus Baptist Church 16130 Hwy 189 New Edinburg AR with visitation beginning one hour before the service and continuing after the service.

She was educated in New Edinburg AR and attended SAU of Magnolia AR. She loved playing sports all of her life and enjoyed watching her Razorbacks. Most of all she loved her family and her Lord Jesus who she was very quick to tell you about. She enjoyed being a mom, a pastor's wife and a substitute teacher for many years. She leaves a wonderful legacy of love, faith in Jesus Christ and service to whoever needed her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years; three sisters: Clara, Hazel, and Luneal; two brothers: Daniel & Knox Wheeler; and one grandson: Joel Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Harper and husband, David; one son, John Searcy Smith and wife Debra; nine grandchildren: Andrew (Cassidy) Harper, William (Amanda) Harper, Nathan (Kendra) Smith, Matthew Smith, Jessica (Jaron) Kelly, Joanna (Kevin) Mason, Joy (Josh) Burton, Caleb Smith, and Julie Smith. fourteen great grandchildren: Jonathan Smith, Benjamin Harper, Naomi Smith, Paisley Harper, Elliot Smith, Hallie Harper, Arlyn Harper, Emery Kelly, Lydia Mason, Gianna Smith, Alina Kelly, Daughtry Harper, Hannah Mason, and Silas Kelly; and one brother-in-law, Floyd Connell and one sister-in-law, Bobbie Moseley.
