Sue Grice Lisemby Brown of New Edinburg left her temporary home for her eternal home in heaven on Thursday, September 13, 2018. She was surrounded by family.
She was born November 26, 1933 in Banks, Arkansas to the late Hudie B. Grice and Beulah E. Parnell Grice.
She was the co-Founder and co-director of the Lisemby Family Evangelistic Ministries and Psalms Bible and Music Camp.
She left behind over 45 years of Evangelism; hundreds of paintings; thousands of songs, poems and short stories; 5 published books; 4 sons in full time ministry; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a legacy of commitment to Jesus and His Word.
Survivors include her husband, Don Brown of New Edinburg; four sons, James Ricky of New Edinburg, Reginald Kent (Crystal) of Chattanooga, TN, Joel Keith (Joy) of New Edinburg, and Darren B. (Pamela) of New Edinburg; step-children Genia (Danny) Henley of Star City and Robby Brown of Star City; thirteen grandchildren, Kristen Elizabeth, Jacob Kent, Melody Lauren, D.J., Faith Victoria, Mercy Sue Lynn, Judah Christian, Brooklyn Joelle, Gabrielle D’Anne, Jamie Victoria Hope, Gracie Anna Nichole, Jonathon David, and April Joy Noel; three step-grandchildren Korey (Katelyn) Henley of Star City, and Kassidy (Aaron) Goad of Star City, Colton Brown of Pflugerville, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Nathan James, Selah Elizabeth, Lily Eden and Gideon Elijah; and one step-great grandson, Granger Henley of Star City.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, James T. Lisemby; two brothers C.B. Grice and Clifton Grice, and one sister Lurlene Grice Wolfe.
