Sue Carter

Sue "Aunt Sue" Carter, 63, of Fordyce died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at her home. She was born September 25, 1947 in Hobbs, NM. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Shirley Nickerson; and husband, George Hardy Carter. She was retired from Dallas County Office of Emergency Services. She is survived by one daughter, Kris Dawson and husband Ricky of White Hall; niece, Rhonda Dews and husband Mike of Fordyce; three grandchildren, Katie, Haley and Ashley Logue all of White Hall; five great-grandchildren, Barion Rogers of Kingsland, Jaylen Phillips, Skylar Carter, Aaden Sorrells and Blakely Dawson all of White Hall. A family gathering will be Friday, September 2, 2011 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Red's Restaurant in Fordyce. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
