Steven Edward Evans, 41 of Thornton, AR, died Monday May 9, 2011. He was born in Fordyce, AR, on November 3, 1969, to the late Lavoid & Jo Ann Evans. Mr. Evans was a retired Logger, & a Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Spencer Evans of Hensley, AR; two daughters, Samantha Evans of Fordyce, AR, Savannah Evans of Hensley, AR; a sister, Mindy Evans of Hot Springs, AR; a special friend, Lana Thompson of Thornton, AR; a nephew, Peter Hardman & his wife Beth of Fordyce, AR; a great niece, Mallory Hardman of Fordyce, AR; & several aunts, uncles, & cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lacy & Minnie Evans, & Herman & Bertha Mosley.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Evans Cemetery, with Brother Dewayne Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
