Sonja J. Gault

Sonja J. Gault Fort, 76, of Hot Springs died Wednesday July 15, 2015 at Quapaw Care and Rehab in Hot Springs. Born August 27, 1938 at Carthage, she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Lois Archer Gault. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Masterson and Hazel Jones; and a brother, John Gault. She is survived by her husband, James L. "Larry" Fort of Hot Springs; a son, Steven Fort and his wife, Dianna of McKinney, TX; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Piney Grove United Methodist Church in Hot Springs with Rev. Scott Gallimore officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
