Shirley Kay Taylor, 62 of Fordyce, suddenly left this world on June 21st, 2024. She was born July 1st, 1961 to Jim and Shirley Wooten.

Left behind to tell her legacy is her husband of 40 years, Charles Dean Taylor; her mother, her sister Jimmie Lynn Sisson; brother-in-law, Wilson Sisson; her daughter Angela Atchley; son-in-law John Atchley; daughter, Deana Bond; son-in-law, Scott Bond; son, Raymond Taylor; grandsons, Chris "Mikey" Murry and Samuel Ward; granddaughter-in-law, Amber Murry; granddaughters, Kayleigh Murry, Leah Ward, Debranne "Gracie" Cranford, and Jacey Taylor; great-grandsons, Daniel Murry and Shiloh Murry

Shirley Kay was a graduate of Thornton High School and worked at Fordyce Picture Frame, Dollar General, and File America, consistently the hardest worker in the room and being promoted to positions of leadership.

Shirley Kay loved her family immensely. She had a culinary gift that she used to show her love and devotion. She was also skilled at crochet. Many loved ones have handmade pieces to hold dear.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce with Rev. Scott Smith officiating. Afterwards, a celebration of life and birthday party for Shirley will be held in Camden at the home of her daughter, Angela. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
