Shirley Ware Lambert

Shirley Ware Lambert, 73 of Hampton, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was born November 11, 1944 in Ft. Worth to the late Ray and Ozelle Garner Ware. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gene Lambert.
She is survived by her son William "Bill" (Mearlene) Ball of Genoa; her daughter Marina (John) Henry of Hampton; her grandchild Morgan Echols of Genoa.
Shirley was retired from Smackover State Bank after many years of service to the El Dorado Community. She was the former secretary, Sunday school teacher and singer at Antioch Baptist Church for more than thirty years. She had a deep love for her church family.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10AM Friday at Antioch Baptist Church of Hampton. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
