Shirley Hammonds, 82, of Bearden died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Silver Oaks Nursing Home in Camden, Arkansas. She was born June 10, 1936 in Rosston, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Copeland and Gertrude Bustin Butcher; and one sister, Davelene Childers. She is survived by her husband, Bodie Hammonds of Bearden; one son, Dennis Marlar of Baytown, TX; one daughter, Shirley Patricia Cowles of Bearden; one brother, Howard Copeland of Waldo; two sisters, JoAnn Young of Bryant and Barbara Walthall of Bearden; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
