Sherron Timothy Files

Sherron Timothy Files, 81 of El Dorado died Wednesday June 28, 2023 at Ruston Regional Hospital. Born November 21, 1941 he was the son of the late Ira Files and Flosie Gardner Files.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Julia Ann Files; and daughter, Melanie Ann Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Files of El Dorado; one daughter, Stephanie Ann Files of Jacksonville; one step daughter, Peggy Weekley and husband David of Friendsville; step sons, Keith Smith and wife Kay of El Dorado and Mike Smith and wife Atonya of Tupelo, MS; one brother, Johnny Ray Files and wife Patricia of Fordyce; Grandchildren, Julianne Unger of Little Rock, Colin Jones and wife Morgan of Benton, along with nine other grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday July 1, 2023 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
