Sarah Jane Mason Hopkins

Sarah Jane Mason Hopkins, 67, of Fordyce died Saturday April 12, 2014 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. Born September 16, 1946 at El Dorado, she was a daughter of the late William Ella and Eliza Bell Douglas Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Hopkins. She is survived by her children, Debra Lawson of Alma, William D. Taylor of Fordyce, Gregory Shane Taylor of Alma, Janel Benites of Fordyce, Joline Launius of Hampton; sisters Barbara McGarity of El Dorado, Sandra Meyers of Nashville, AR; grandchildren, Edward Wayne Hall, Jr. of Ft. Smith, Colton Launius of Hampton, Hope Launius of Hampton, Tristan Launius of Hampton, Teresa Benites of Fordyce, Sarah Benites of Fordyce, Andrea Benites of Fordyce; seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. B.L. Blann officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery near El Dorado with Rev. Kevin Dunn officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
