Sam L. Clemons

Sam L. Clemons, 73 of Bearden, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017. He was born April 16, 1943 in Bearden to the late Jim L. and Bessie Mosley Clemons. He was also preceded in death by his brother Hugh Clemons.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Clemons of Bearden; five children, Cindy Clemons Belt of East Camden, Mike Clemons of Locust Bayou, Rod (Michelle) Clemons of Sheridan, David (Kathy) Clemons of Bearden, Sam (Amanda) Clemons of Holly Springs; three brothers, Harry Clemons, John Clemons, Button Clemons all of Bearden; two sisters, Eva Clemons Ragsdale and Vikki Clemons Mosley both of Bearden; 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Wednesday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services are 2PM Thursday at Moss Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Clemons, Briar Williams, Tyler Clemons, Houston Clemons, Hayden Clemons, Timmy Clemons, Chris Dodd, and Chad Belt. Honorary pallbearer is Kip "Skip" Clemons.
