Ruth Tamburo

Ruth Tamburo, 76, of Thornton died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Born March 14, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Grace Smith. She is survived by her husband, Pete Ronnie Tamburo of Thornton; one daughter, Patricia Lynn Word of Bearden; one brother, Junior Smith of Rison; one sister, Doris May Smith of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday December 2, 2008 at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Bearden.
