Ruth Evelyn Morgan Kauffman

Ruth Evelyn Morgan Kauffman, 82, of Fordyce died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born December 21, 1927 in Dallas County. Ruth Evelyn was a homemaker, a retired schoolteacher and a member of First Baptist Church in Fordyce. She was also a member of the Fordyce Culture Club, Paul Harris Fellow and a model of the Rotarian Four Way Test. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Lester and Lucy Barnes Morgan; one brother, Vernon Morgan and three sisters, Doris Gresham,Virginia Cannon and Estelle Morgan. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Dr. Charles Kauffman of Fordyce; four sons, Chuck Kauffman and his wife Cindy of Fordyce, Tim Kauffman and his wife Betty of Arkadelphia, Kelley Kauffman of Tyler, TX, Luke Kauffman and his wife Christy of Hot Springs; one daughter Kristy Kauffman of Arkadelphia; one sister, Millie Coulter of Hot Springs, eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce however, the family will not be present. Graveside services will be Monday 10:00 am at Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce with Rev. Stacy Reed officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
