Ruth Crutchfield

Wilda Ruth Crutchfield, 84, of Bearden died Thursday January 1, 2009 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. She was born January 23, 1924 in Woodberry, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God in Bearden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Summers and Lurlie Proctor Summers; her husband, Troy Crutchfield, four brothers, David, Wayne, Enoch and Dale Summers; six sisters, Pauline House, Edna Silliman, Thelma Summers, Mae Summers, Demma Fitzsimmons and Marie Ramsey. She is survived by four sons, James Crutchfield of Camden, Dale Crutchfield of Roswell, NM, Edgar Crutchfield of Fordyce and David Crutchfield of Bearden; three brothers, Dura Summers of Ouachita, Jesse Summers of Byhalia, MS, Gervis Summers of Rogers; three sisters, Ruby Gross of Memphis, TN, Lurlie Colby of Bearden, Clara Talley of Arab, AL; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be 6pm until 9pm Friday at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday at First Assembly of God in Bearden with Rev. Wayne McGuire and Rev.
