Ruth Ellen Burford

Ruth Ellen Burford, 79, of Jacksonville died Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at her home. She was born October 26, 1934 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a retired C.N.A and she attended Assembly of God Churches. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake Castleberry and Nettie Jones Castleberry; husband, Stanley Burford; two brothers, Hardy and Harry Castleberry; and twin sister, Florence Langley. She is survived by one step-son, Timothy Burford of Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Connie Burford Ogden of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Margaret Castleberry of Little Rock; special caregivers, Bente Loe of Jacksonville and Gil Frayley of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Benton Funeral Home. Burial at White Oak Cemetery near Bearden.
