Ruby Faye Lambert, 68 of Hampton, died Friday, November 7, 2014. She was born December 27, 1945 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the late Leslie B. Wood and Jessie Juanita Osgood Wood. She is also preceded in death by her husband John Lee Lambert, brother Ray Wood, son John Leslie Lambert, and grandson John Buck Lambert.
She is survived by her son Dan Benjamin Lambert of Hampton; three sisters, Clydean Lambert of Hampton, Joyce Ann Ledbetter of Fordyce, Geradine Rawls of Wilmer; three grandchildren Briana Nicole Lambert of Hampton, Dan Benjamin Lambert, Jr. of Hampton, and Harley Cheyenne Lambert of Hampton; nieces Melissa White of Junction City, Ruby Beck of Montgomery, Alabama, Angela Summerford of Monticello, and others.
Visitation will be Sunday night from 5PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services are 2PM Monday at Friendship Cemetery near Hampton. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
