Ruby L. Hamilton

Ruby L. Hamilton, 101 of Kingsland, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Gardner Nursing and Rehab in Star City. She was born March 11, 1915 in Sardis, TN to the late Joseph and Cordelia Orr Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by her husband Buford L. Hamilton, grandson Keith Hamilton, nine brothers, and four sisters.

Ruby was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church in Kingsland and a homemaker. She loved cooking for and taking care of those she loved.

She is survived by her son, Max Hamilton of Kingsland; daughter, Renea Tucker and husband Richard of Star City; sister Geneva Craig of Sardis, TN; daughter-in-law, Sherra Sue Hamilton of Kingsland; three grandchildren, Quintin Hamilton of Kingsland, Jeremy Kimbrough of Little Rock, Justin Kimbrough of Kingsland; six great grandchildren, Makenlee Kimbrough of Camden, Bryar Kimbrough of Kingsland, Lance Hamilton of Bearden, Mitchell Hamilton of Rison, Stevie Hamilton of Hatfield, PA, Holly Hamilton of Hatfield, AR; three great-great grandchildren, Sawyer and Stetson Hamilton of Bearden, Dallas Hamilton of Rison; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 10AM Monday at Hebron United Methodist Church in Kingsland.
