Ruby Lee Green

Ruby Lee Drummond Green, 86, of Fordyce, died Wednesday February 3, 2016 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. Born August 29, 1929 at Ferriday, LA, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. Drummond and Audie Leona Watson Drummond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard S. Green; two brothers; three sisters; and a grandchild, Brianna Green. She was a Christian and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fordyce. She is survived by her children, Phyllis Jackson and husband Tim of Chidester, Ben Green and wife, Linda of Fordyce, Louise King and husband Carl (Big Bud) of Fordyce; two sisters; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Stoney Point Cemetery with Rev.
