Roy Wesley Sessions, 95, of Fordyce died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at his home. He was born November 21, 1923 in Thornton, Arkansas. He was retired for the Arkansas Highway Police. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Benjamin “Benny” Sessions and Ada E. Hodge Sessions; two sisters, Ora Steelman Cathey and Sadie Haynes; one step son, Randy Gilliam; and one nephew, Franklin Steelman. He is survived by his wife, Marcell Sessions of Fordyce; one daughter, Sarah (John Mark) Sessions-Dietle of Lowell, AR; three granddaughters, Molly Dietle, Maggie Dietle, Lydia Dietle of Lowell; one niece, Cathy Balentine of Warren; three nephews, Jerry Steelman of Mineola TX, Mark Haynes of Monticello, Blake Haynes of Dallas, TX.
Visitation will be Wednesday 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Horton and Rev. Lance Hollis officiating.
