Roy Albert Peters, 79, of Sheridan died Friday December 10, 2010 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born October 14, 1931 in Princeton, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Albert and Ina Mae Lumpkins Peters; wife, Jewel Priest Peters; step-son, Billy Crouse and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by two step-sons, Danny Crouse of Alexander, Jewel Crouse of Hensley; one daughter, Rhonda Passmore of Malvern; three step-daughters, Judy Howell of Stephens, Jeanie Summers of Sparkman, Lynn Williams of Sparkman; two brothers, Dave Peters of Longford, KS, James Peters of Fordyce; one sister, Alice Lawrence of Sheridan; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Marvin Launius officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
