Roy B. Hutchins

Roy B. Hutchins, 87, of Kingsland, died Tuesday May 3, 2011 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Mr. Hutchins was born in Electra, TX, on February 9, 1924 to the late B.R. & Daisy Pearl Hutchins. He was a retired VA service officer for Cleveland County, & a member of the First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Mr. Hutchins honorably & faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps During World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Garlington Hutchins of Kingsland, AR; a son, Scott Hutchins & wife Ronda of Huntsville, AL; a daughter, Jana Staley & husband Dean of Wichita Falls, TX; two step daughters, Lee Ann Johnson & husband James of Fordyce, AR, Rhonda Aist & husband Marty of Conway, AR; seven grandchildren, Carr Staley of Dallas, TX, Jana K. & Leah Hutchins of Huntsville, AL, Noah Bradley of Russellville, AR, Alex Aist of Fayetteville, AR, Mitchell Grice of Fordyce, AR, Conner Aist of Conway, AR; & two great grandchildren, Evan & Elin Bradley of Russellville, AR. He was preceded in death by a brother, & two sisters.

The family will receive friends on Saturday May 7, 2011 from 10:00 untill 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Kingsland, AR. In Lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Kingsland. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
