Roy Lee Chick

Roy Lee Chick, 63 of Thornton, died Monday August 11, 2008 at his home. He was born October 20, 1944 in Columbia, MO. He was a member of Cane Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Thornton and a retired mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford H. and Minnie Roberts Chick; son, Michael Lane Chick and wife, Clarisa Janie Chick. He is survived by his wife, Chris Chick of Thornton; two sons, Jeffrey Chick of Columbia, MO and Russell Chick of Chambersville; one step son, Bobby Easterling of North Little Rock; two step daughters, Cherri Gullickson of White River, SD, Tina Dorsett of Woodlawn; five brothers, James Chick, Dusty Chick, Floyd Chick, Ronnie and Donnie Chick all of Columbia, MO; three sisters, Della Cox, Helen Bapye and Patsy Moore all of Columbia, MO and twenty grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Cane Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Thornton with Elder Hartsel Cayce and Elder Paul Cayce officiating. Burial at Thornton Cemetery.
