Ronald "Red" Lanthrip, SR., 69 of Fordyce, died Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was born July 21, 1947 in Cleveland County to the late Thomas L.M. "Bo" Lanthrip and Maggie Marie Terry McMann. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Lillie Ann Howard; brother Thomas Lanthrip, two sisters, Charlene Maschak and Annie Sue Stringfellow; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Justin Doherty.
He is survived by his wife Janice Lanthrip of Fordyce; three sons Thomas (Lynn) Lanthrip of Rye, Chris (Sherry) Howard of Hope, and Ronald "Bo"(Rebecca) Lanthrip, JR of Fordyce; three daughters Barbara (Troy) Francis of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Jerri (Phillip) Jester of Gurdon, Janie (Tim) Doherty of Lonoke; his brother W.H. Taylor of Springdale; his sister Annie Benson of Florida; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
