Robert "Slackwater" Harris, 63 of Kingsland, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at his home. He was born June 10, 1949 in Homer, Louisiana to the late Mack and Sally Knowles Harris. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Leslie McCool.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Harris of Kingsland; sons Heath Harris of Van Cleave, Mississippi and Robert John Harris of Sheridan; daughters, Kelli Lunsford of Woodlawn, Kristie Hinton of Pine Bluff, and Jessie Brust of Redfield; brothers Joe Harris of Raceland, Louisiana and Virgil Harris of Pine Bluff; sisters Glenda McAfee and Judy Haggins both of Kingsland; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 AM Friday at Graves Cemetery near Kingsland. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
