Robert O. Boroughs

Robert O. Boroughs, age 89 of Sparkman, died Friday, March 26, 2021 at St. John’s Place in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was born July 7, 1931 in Steele, MO. He was a retired boiler operator and an Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Otis Boroughs and Robbie Mae Hampton Boroughs; wife, Cynthia Moyer Boroughs; and brother, Tony Boroughs. He is survived by four sons, Michael (Judy) Boroughs of Sparkman, Luther (Gwen) Boroughs of Camden, Jason (Cindy) Boroughs of Cabot, David (Mary) Boroughs of Houston, TX; two daughters, Rose (Mike) Sullivent of Bearden, Melissa (Shelia) Boroughs of Burleson, TX; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at New Hollys Springs Cemetery. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday at New Holly Springs Cemetery with Rev. David Dillard officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
